Modern plastic evaporative cooling pads offer cooling efficiencies of up to 78–85%. High-quality plastic pads feature unique honeycomb or 3D mesh structures that maximize evaporative surface area, enabling an immediate temperature drop of 4–12°C depending on ambient conditions.
Crucially, the cooling efficiency of plastic pads remains stable over the long term. Unlike paper cooling pads, which degrade and lose performance over time, plastic cooling pads do not shrink, warp, or suffer from reduced cooling effectiveness.
Traditional paper cooling pads typically require replacement after a service life of 3 to 5 years. In contrast, plastic evaporative cooling pads boast a lifespan of 8 to 15 years—more than double or triple that of paper pads.

Corrosion resistance – Unaffected by acids, alkalis, and harsh environmental conditions
Mold and moisture resistance – Unlike cellulose, plastic does not provide a breeding ground for fungi
UV stability – Maintains structural integrity even with prolonged exposure to sunlight
Temperature resistance – Withstands operating temperatures of up to 75–100°C
Physical strength – Resists damage from bird pecking, rodents, and physical impacts
Dust accumulation on cooling pads inevitably reduces performance. Paper cooling pads are difficult to clean effectively and usually require replacement. Plastic cooling pads, however, can be easily cleaned with a high-pressure water jet, instantly restoring their full cooling performance.
