Principles and Performance of Greenhouse Evaporative Cooling Systems

The core principle of the evaporative cooling pad system lies in harnessing the natural physical phenomenon of heat absorption through water evaporation, combined with negative-pressure ventilation technology, to achieve rapid cooling and air circulation within a greenhouse. During operation, a water pump evenly distributes fresh water to the top of the cooling pads; guided by a specialized flow-diversion structure, the water permeates uniformly down through the pad material, forming a thin, moist water film. Simultaneously, exhaust fans located at the opposite end of the greenhouse activate to generate negative pressure (suction), drawing hot outside air inward and forcing it through the moistened cooling pads.
