What is a PVC drainage gutter evaporative cooling system?
Unlike complex industrial cooling systems, our system utilizes a network of standard PVC drainage gutters and downpipes strategically installed along the eaves or walls of a building. These gutters form a distributed water distribution and evaporation matrix.
Water is continuously pumped into the drainage gutter and flows evenly along its length. As this occurs, powerful exhaust fans (or negative pressure systems) within the building draw in hot, dry outdoor air into the perforated sections or open channels of the drainage gutter. When the hot air encounters the flowing water film, rapid evaporation occurs. This process absorbs a significant amount of heat from the air, significantly lowering the temperature, after which cool, humid air is drawn into the building.
