Evaporative cooling is nature’s natural air conditioning. When dry, hot air flows through a medium saturated with water, the water evaporates, absorbing a significant amount of heat and thus significantly lowering the air temperature. For decades, cellulose cooling pads have dominated the market. While effective, they have limitations: they are prone to organic decay, algae growth, and mineral blockage, and have a relatively short lifespan, especially in hard water conditions.

Modern plastic cooling pads are not simply replacements; these systems are precisely designed for superior performance and an exceptionally long lifespan.
Excellent Durability and Lifespan: These pads are made from high-quality UV-stabilized polymers such as PP or PVC, which do not rot, mold, or grow algae. They are resistant to most chemicals and minerals and can withstand harsh water conditions that would rapidly degrade cellulose pads. Their lifespan is typically 5-10 years or longer, significantly reducing the total cost of ownership.
Continuously Efficient and Easy to Maintain: The rigid structure of plastic pads does not trap dissolved solids. Mineral scale is a major cause of reduced efficiency and water absorption in cellulose gaskets, while scale on plastic gaskets can be easily rinsed away. A simple annual cleaning with water or a mild acidic solution restores them to like-new condition, ensuring consistent airflow and cooling efficiency year after year.
Hygienic and Environmentally Friendly: The inert plastic material helps keep the system clean. Because it contains no organic matter, the risk of pathogen growth is minimized—crucial for agricultural and poultry farming applications. Furthermore, its longer lifespan reduces waste generation, and the plastics used are typically fully recyclable after their extended lifespan.
Design Flexibility and Structural Integrity: The robust honeycomb design allows for various configurations, improving cooling saturation efficiency. They permanently maintain their shape, preventing sagging or collapse and avoiding air bypass channels that can occur in traditional gaskets.
Upgrade to plastic for smarter, not harder, cooling.
