    Product overview

    The chimney fan series is specially designed and developed to meet the stringent ventilation requirements of confined livestock houses. In cold‑temperate or temperate climate zones, air circulates at low speed inside the house. Special attention shall be paid to wind speed variation to avoid unwanted airflows above the animals. Mounted on the roof, the fans exhaust polluted air accumulated above livestock zones, effectively preventing harmful air currents near the animals.
    Based on the principle that hot air rises, polluted hot air is discharged out of the building via the exhaust openings on the upper part of the livestock house, while fresh cold outdoor air is drawn in. This creates a vertical ventilation pattern with non‑crossing airflow, lowering the risk of animal diseases.
    It can serve as a backup ventilation system during power outages. Upon power failure, the fan dampers and air inlets open by spring self‑reset mechanism or backup power supply. Natural ventilation is achieved through the chimney effect to prevent livestock suffocation.

    Product overview

    The chimney air‑intake fan is installed below the eaves. It adopts high‑pressure and high‑airflow fans to supply fresh air into the livestock house. Hot air above the roof inside the house mixes at the air inlet. The mixed airflow is dispersed around animals via the deflector plate, saving energy and preventing cold air direct blow‑on.
    It eliminates cold‑bridge effect inside houses in extremely cold regions and avoids excessive humidity.
    Configuration 1: EC air‑intake fan without preheating function; 0‑10V speed control to meet airflow requirements for different seasons.
    Configuration 2: AC air‑intake fan with preheating function. The fresh‑air ratio can be adjusted up and down to reduce costs of fresh‑air ducts.
    Configuration 3: Equipped with push‑rod motor and circulating fan. Even at minimum ventilation rate, the fresh‑air volume and temperature can be controlled by adjusting the distance between the deflector plate and air inlet.
    Maximum air supply diameter: 23m.
    Chimney air‑intake fans are applicable to various livestock houses, with prominent advantages in the following scenarios:
    ‑ Used in extremely cold regions;
    ‑ Livestock houses without ceiling air inlets;
    ‑ Houses constrained by building structures, such as farm buildings with wide overall layout or extra‑wide individual houses;
    ‑ Equal‑pressure or low‑pressure ventilation modes.

    The WS‑T series air‑intake fans are designed for equal‑pressure and slight positive‑pressure ventilation.
    With the roof‑mounted deflector plate and EC motor, fresh outdoor air is distributed throughout the livestock house at proper velocity and direction.
    The deflector plate adopts aerodynamic design principle; column‑shaped airflow ensures optimal incoming air flow.
    Equipped with EC motor, IP66 protection class, air volume ranges from 5000‑16200m3/h, satisfying fresh‑air requirements for livestock at different growth stages.

    The HW‑TB series air‑intake fan comes with a sliding module and rope‑driven system, which is driven with a fixed‑area‑ratio setting between fresh air and recirculated air.
    During summer operation, the recirculation gap is fully closed by adjusting the sliding module, allowing 100% fresh outdoor air to enter the house. This reduces the required fresh‑air duct capacity by approximately 50%.
    During winter operation, the sliding module adjusts the proportion of the recirculation gap to mix hot air from the upper part of the house with fresh air, cutting heating costs.
    Equipped with an AC motor and IP66 protection class, its maximum air‑supply diameter is 23m.
    The risk of ice formation is greatly reduced under extremely low‑temperature conditions.
