    The system relies on heat absorption through water evaporation. An aluminum alloy cooling pad wall is installed at one end of the enclosed housing, and negative-pressure exhaust fans at the other end create negative pressure inside. Hot outdoor air passes through the wetted honeycomb cooling pad media; water evaporates and absorbs heat from the air. Cooled fresh air is delivered into the housing to achieve overall temperature reduction.

    1. Working Principle

    The system relies on heat absorption through water evaporation. An aluminum alloy cooling pad wall is installed at one end of the enclosed housing, and negative-pressure exhaust fans at the other end create negative pressure inside. Hot outdoor air passes through the wetted honeycomb cooling pad media; water evaporates and absorbs heat from the air. Cooled fresh air is delivered into the housing to achieve overall temperature reduction.

    ✅ Typical temperature drop: 4~10℃. Better performance in arid regions.

    2. System Components

    Aluminum Alloy Cooling Pad Main Body (Core Component)

    Extrusion profile: 6063-T5 aluminum alloy, common wall thickness: 1.2/1.5/1.8 mm, anodized for corrosion resistance.

    Structure: Top water distribution trough, cooling pad media core, bottom water collection trough, integrated backwater trough, removable access cover.

    Cooling pad media thickness: 100 mm / 150 mm / 200 mm (150 mm is preferred for large-scale pig and poultry houses).

    Advantages: Light weight, robust welding, low deformation risk; convenient for media replacement and pipeline cleaning.

    Water Circulation Unit: Circulating water pump, filter, overflow & drain pipeline, water level sensor

    Exhaust Unit: Negative-pressure fan (aluminum alloy blades optional)

    Intelligent Climate Control Cabinet: Automatic start/stop linked to temperature and humidity

    II. Key System Design Parameters (Reference for Livestock Engineering)

    Air velocity through cooling pad: 1.8~2.6 m/s. Excessively high velocity causes water carry-over and splashing; overly low velocity reduces cooling efficiency.

    Cooling pad matching ratio: One 1380 negative-pressure fan matches 6~8 ㎡ of cooling pad area.

    Water supply: Uniform water distribution pressure to ensure a continuous even water film across the entire pad and eliminate dry zones.

    Water quality: Installation of filters is recommended; regular draining to avoid scale clogging of water distribution pipes.

    ❌ Limitations

    Cooling performance declines under high-humidity weather (plum rain season).

    The cooling pad system moderately raises indoor relative humidity.

    Regular cleaning of cooling pads and pipelines is required to prevent clogging caused by algae and limescale.
